I love softball because: I love the person that I become when I put on that uniform and step onto that field. I'm powerful, fearless, and smarter than I've ever been in my whole life. I'm unstoppable. When I step onto that field, I'm in complete control of my life.  I'm defined.

I love softball because: You can meet new people and make new friends! And I love to be in tournaments! And no matter what everyone's a winner! And if you make a mistake never ever give up! If it were up to me I would be on that softball field 24/7.

I love softball because: I get to meet new friends and it doesn't matter if you win or lose because you are just learning a new game. I really like hitting the most.

I love softball because: Games are always so exciting. With fields smaller than in baseball, the action is much more fun. The great players of fastpitch softball instill dreams in young kids like me, but more importantly show what truly playing for love of the game is really all about.

I love softball because: Softball lets me spend quality time with my daughter. It lets me teach her the skills that I learned from my father. I get to know her friends and share in the sense of community that comes from being part of a team. I love her with all my heart.

The greatest thing about softball to me is the ability to do something with my 14-year-old daughter, who does not always want to be with her parents. That helps us show her how much we love her and how proud we are of her every day. She doesn't even mind us being there! It's really great to have something that we can relate and agree on!

I love softball because: It stretches the parameters of what can be done in the lives of the girls. It gives them visions, a goal, and helps them learn the discipline that can later help them succeed in life. It gives them confidence and teaches them you can do whatever it is you want to do...if you only put the effort in and try. Facing down a pitcher who's throwing it and smackin' the ball anyways...or practicing hours on end to not only be that also be that total athlete who can whiz the ball in, bat that ball out, or field the ball going out. That takes guts and confidence. It turns girls who were fearful and disbelieving into champions who can conquer and believe. And that's just the first few reasons....

I love softball because: It mysteriously manages to keep the spirit and raw enthusiasm of competition across all experience levels—regardless of age. Go to a local coach-pitch game with 6-year olds, or go to a pro game and you see many of the same things—teammates chanting, athletes pushing themselves, and an inherent, genuine respect for the sport that is absent in other disciplines. People of different social classes, races, and petty cliques just put all that aside and become "a team." And that's something the world could use some more of.

I love softball because: its like when im out on that field its like nothing else matters. its a sport that no matter what happens at the end of the game im always happy that i got to be in it. i played for my JV team at school and i think out of the 20 games we played we won like 2 and i didnt care. if it was any other sport i would have been mad at someone or at me but not in softball. my dream is to be on the olympic softball team. or even just meet the team. just get a feel of it. SOFTBALL IS MY LIFE.
